Your kitchen’s out of action.
Life doesn’t have to be.
Breakfast still needs making, the washing up keeps coming, and the novelty of a takeaway soon wears off.
Whether you’re planning a renovation or dealing with unexpected repairs, being without a kitchen can make everyday life harder than it needs to be. Rolling Kitchens brings a high-quality temporary kitchen to your home, giving you a proper place to cook, wash up, and store food while the work gets done.

Keep the kettle on and dinner on the table.
A new kitchen or extension is something to look forward to. Living through the work can be another matter.
Suddenly, making a packed lunch means hunting through boxes, washing up happens in the bathroom, and preparing a family meal becomes a daily puzzle.
We help make that awkward middle bit easier. With a temporary kitchen at your property, you can keep food in the fridge, cook your usual meals and get back to the routines that make home feel like home.
A kitchen that works for your household
Every home runs differently. You might need space to cook for a busy family, a dishwasher to keep on top of the plates, or a washing machine while your utility room is out of use too.
We’ll talk through how you’ll use your temporary kitchen and agree a suitable setup. Depending on your requirements and availability, that can include:
An oven and hob for everyday cooking
A fridge or freezer to keep your food stored properly
A sink and dishwasher to make washing up easier
A washing machine to help keep laundry moving
Preparation space and storage for the things you use every day.
It’s about having the facilities you need to carry on with less disruption.
And we don’t just drop it off and leave. You can call us anytime if you need help or have questions. We’ll support you throughout the entire hire.
What you’ll need at home
Getting set up is straightforward when we know a little about your property.
Here’s what we’ll need, and if you’re unsure about anything, we’ll talk it through with you.
-
Your kitchen will need to sit on a private driveway or similar space. Tarmac, block paving, gravel and hardstanding can all be suitable. If you’d like it positioned on grass, please let us know when booking so we can discuss the location.
Alongside space for the kitchen itself, allow room for the door, step and access around it. We’ll also need enough space to manoeuvre it into position.
-
We connect your kitchen to an outside tap, usually the one you use for your garden hose.
Ideally, the tap should be within 25 metres of the kitchen. If it’s further away, let us know when booking so we can plan the connection.
-
We’ll need a suitable drainage point for the kitchen’s wastewater, ideally within 10 metres of where it will sit.
Before you book, please let us know if the drainage point is further away or uphill from the kitchen. We’ll discuss the arrangements with you and confirm what’s suitable.
-
Your kitchen uses two power leads, which connect to two standard 13A plug sockets. These can be inside or outside your property and should ideally be within 25 metres of the kitchen.
If the sockets are further away, please tell us when booking so we can discuss the setup.
-
Your kitchen arrives with a Calor LPG gas bottle. The amount of gas remaining will vary, so it may need replacing during your hire.
You’re responsible for the cost of gas you need during the hire period. The bottle can be exchanged for a full one at a local stockist.
Not sure whether your space will work?
Tell us about your property and where you’d like the kitchen. We’ll help you work through the details before you book.
Let’s keep life cooking
Tell us what’s happening at home, when you’ll need a kitchen and what you’d like it to include. We’ll help you find a practical way to keep going while the work gets done.
