Your kitchen’s out of action. Business doesn’t have to be.
Customers still need serving. Staff still need feeding. And a kitchen refurbishment or unexpected repair shouldn’t mean putting everything on hold.

What you’ll need on site
A little planning helps us get your temporary kitchen ready for use. Here’s what we’ll need at your premises. If you’re unsure about any of the requirements, we’ll talk them through with you before you book.
-
YYour kitchen will need a suitable position on private land, such as a car park, yard or other hardstanding area. Tarmac, block paving and gravel can all be suitable. If you’re considering a grassed area, please let us know when booking.
Allow space for the kitchen, its door and step, and access around it. We’ll also need room to manoeuvre it into position for delivery and collection. Please flag any gates, narrow entrances or access restrictions in advance.
-
We connect the kitchen to an outside tap, ideally within 25 metres of its proposed position.
If the tap is further away, let us know when booking so we can plan the connection.
-
We’ll need a suitable drainage point for the kitchen’s wastewater, ideally within 10 metres.
Please tell us before booking if the drainage point is further away or uphill from the kitchen. We’ll discuss the arrangements and confirm what’s suitable.
-
YThe kitchen uses two power leads, connected to two standard 13A plug sockets. These can be inside or outside your premises and should ideally be within 25 metres of the kitchen.
Let us know if the sockets are further away. We’ll confirm the power requirements for your agreed kitchen specification before delivery.
-
Your kitchen arrives with a Calor LPG gas bottle. The amount of gas remaining will vary, so it may need replacing during your hire.
Your business is responsible for the cost of gas used during the hire period. The bottle can be exchanged for a full one at a local stockist.
Let’s talk through your site

Know a business that needs to keep the kitchen running?
If you know a business, venue, contractor, facilities team or organisation that could benefit from a temporary kitchen, introduce us.
When a referral leads to a booking, we’ll thank you with gift vouchers.
It could help them keep serving customers, feeding teams or running as normal. You simply make the introduction and we’ll take it from there.
